Application: Mosque Audio System
In a mosque, the VZX-8 brings every prayer space under one compact processor: the main hall, the ladies' section, the outdoor prayer area, walkways, ablution areas and the minaret. Its built-in automixer (AMM) brings up only the mic in use between the imam, khateeb and muezzin, while AGC keeps each voice at a steady level.
The azan can reach the minaret horns and every indoor zone at once, and wall panels let caretakers set each area's level without touching the rack. Full-matrix DSP replaces separate mixers and processors, keeping recitation and khutbah clear even in large, echo-prone halls.

Rack Installation and Ventilation
The Dynacord VZX-8 fits standard 19-inch racks or cases using the supplied rack ears. Allow access to rear connections and maintain clear ventilation around the processor for reliable operation.

Supplied rack ears support installation in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. Rack-fixing screws and washers are not included.
Rear Airflow Clearance
Dynacord recommends an air duct of at least 50 mm between the rear panel and the cabinet or rack-case wall, extending to the top ventilation openings.

Where does the VZX-8 fit?
It is made for paging plus background and foreground music in up to 8 zones: hotels, restaurants, retail, gyms, offices. It is not a voice alarm system.
How many sources can it handle?
20: 8 mic / line inputs with phantom power, 4 RCA inputs and 8 internal media players, plus the EMG override input.
Do I need software to configure it?
No. It runs a browser Web App; for control systems there are JSON-RPC and Crestron and Q-SYS plug-ins. The Ethernet port is for control only, not Dante.
How does a V Series system fit together?
The VZX-8 is the brain: 20 sources, 8 zones, DSP, scheduled messages and a browser Web App. Its two RJ45 outputs carry zones 1-4 and 5-8 to V600:4 or V600:2 amplifiers, one cable each. VCS-8 call stations and VWP-EU wall panels daisy-chain on its two accessory ports: bus powered, up to 500 m per port, 16 devices in total, at most 8 call stations.

The V Series is made for paging plus background and foreground music. In a building that needs a voice alarm it can run music and paging day to day while PLENA VAS, PAVIRO or PRAESENSA takes over every zone through its EMG input in an emergency.
Who supplies Dynacord in the UAE, and what warranty do I get?
Protechtors General Trading LLC (hik.ae) is an authorized partner of Bosch, Dynacord and Electro-Voice in the UAE, so everything we supply is genuine and is covered by the manufacturer warranty. Warranty is carry-in: bring the unit to our office in Dubai and after inspection it is repaired or replaced as needed.
