How is it powered on a 70 V or 100 V line?
Taps 30, 15, 7.5 and 3.75 W, plus 1.88 W on 70 V, or 8 ohm, set by a switch on the front baffle.
How is it installed?
Cutout 10.7 in (272 mm), the same as the EVID-C8.2-G2; tile rail, C-ring and magnetic grille, ceilings 0.5 to 1.5 in thick, UL 2043 plenum rated.

Which EVID ceiling speaker for an office, school, restaurant or Masjid?
- Offices, meeting rooms, classrooms, corridors: EVID-EC4.2, 130° coverage for clear speech and background music.
- Small rooms and washrooms: EVID-EC3.1, IP45 and only 93 mm deep.
- Restaurants, shops and Masjid prayer halls, where music or the khutbah must be clear across a large floor: EVID-EC6.2.
- Premium music, higher ceilings: EVID-C8.2-G2, plus EVID-C8.1S-G2 for bass.
- Open or very high ceilings: the EVID-P6.2B pendant.

How do I add bass to EVID ceiling speakers?
Add the EVID-C8.1S-G2 ceiling subwoofer (45 Hz to 380 Hz, 113 dB). Run it on its own amplifier channel with a low-pass, for example one channel of a V600:2 with its 150 Hz low-pass for the subwoofer and the other channel with the 100 Hz high-pass for the EVID-C8.2-G2 or EVID-EC6.2 satellites.
