Know before you buy
Quick answers about the R300-E/B, and how it compares.
Where does the R300-E fit?
Headworn keeps the microphone at the same distance from the mouth, so the level stays steady when the presenter moves. The HM 3 headset is also sold on its own.
How many systems can run together?
Up to 8 compatible channels in a group, out of 32 per band.
How long do the batteries last?
Over 14 hours on two AA alkaline cells.
Which frequency band, and is it approved?
Wireless microphones need TDRA (formerly TRA) type approval and an authorized frequency in the UAE. They are not stocked and are supplied to order: please check the regulations for your site before you enquire, and tell us where the system will be used.
R300 or RE3 wireless?
| System | Microphones | Channels | Battery | Rack kit |
|---|---|---|---|---|

| RE3-ND76-5H, RE3-ND86-5H | Handheld ND76 cardioid or ND86 supercardioid | Up to 22 per group, 8 groups | 2 x AA or NiMH, over 8 h | Included |
RE3 is the current platform: wider tuning (36 MHz), 10 or 50 mW output, rechargeable batteries and swappable heads. Wireless microphones need a locally approved frequency band; ask us before you order.
