Use Cases :-
School Corridors
School hallways need clear, reliable paging that reaches every student regardless of ambient noise from lockers, conversations, and foot traffic between classes. The VCS-8 lets front office staff page individual hallways, wings, or the entire campus with a single button press — no need to run to each classroom or rely on a single overworked PA microphone. Paired with EVID ceiling or surface-mount speakers distributed throughout corridors, announcements, bell schedules, and emergency messages come through clearly across the whole facility, all managed from one call station at the front desk.
Restaurants & Bars
Restaurants and bars run multiple distinct zones at once — main dining, bar area, host stand, kitchen, restrooms, and sometimes a live music corner — each needing independent volume control and the occasional live announcement without disrupting the rest of the venue. The VCS-8 lets staff page a single zone (last call at the bar, a reservation callout at the host stand) or reach the entire venue at once, with busy indication and mutual exclusion keeping multiple call stations from talking over each other during a rush.
Hotels
Hotels need audio coverage across genuinely diverse spaces — meeting rooms, reception, guest-facing corridors, fitness centers, pools, courtyards, and the restaurant/bar — each with different acoustic needs and different staff responsible for them. The VCS-8 gives front-desk and event staff instant paging control over any single zone or the entire property, without needing a dedicated sound engineer or juggling separate systems for background music versus emergency announcements.

Know before you buy
Quick answers about the VCS-8 , and how it compares.
What does the VCS-8 do?
Live announcements to one zone, a group of zones or the whole building on a VZX-8 system, and triggers stored messages from its buttons.
How is it connected, and how many can I use?
Bus powered from the VZX-8 over RJ45, daisy-chained in / out: up to 8 per VZX-8, 500 m per port.
How does a V Series system fit together?
The VZX-8 is the brain: 20 sources, 8 zones, DSP, scheduled messages and a browser Web App. Its two RJ45 outputs carry zones 1-4 and 5-8 to V600:4 or V600:2 amplifiers, one cable each. VCS-8 call stations and VWP-EU wall panels daisy-chain on its two accessory ports: bus powered, up to 500 m per port, 16 devices in total, at most 8 call stations.
