Yes. The WAP has native support for up to six cameras with SDI connection, for a clear view of the proceedings. Camera prepositions per seat need one DCNM-LCC camera control license per WAP (ask us). Microphones and third-party camera systems can also be controlled through the API.

Yes. Set one DCNM-WAP as primary and a second as secondary in the web browser interface, for access point redundancy and meeting continuity.

Three ways to power it: the included AC/DC adapter (100 to 240 VAC, AU, UK, EU and US plugs), Power over Ethernet, or a DICENTIS system cable. The included universal bracket fits a wall or ceiling, or an LBC1259/01 tripod floor stand.

Balanced line output to a sound system, mixer or recorder, and a line input for other audio sources or a telephone coupler.

DICENTIS Wireless runs stand-alone, with no central control unit. You need:

• One DCNM-WAP access point: controls up to 120 DICENTIS devices. You set up and run the meeting from its web browser interface on a tablet or laptop.
• A wireless device per seat: DCNM-WD for discussion, or DCNM-WDE with a touch screen and NFC reader.
• A microphone per device: DCNM-HDMIC, DCNM-MICS or DCNM-MICL.
• A battery pack per device: DCNM-WLIION2, charged five at a time in the DCNM-WCH05.
• Optional licenses for dual use, identification, voting and camera control.

Typical coverage is 30 x 30 m per access point. A second WAP can be set up as a secondary access point for redundancy and meeting continuity.

Identification and voting work on the DCNM-WDE only. Each license is delivered as an activation code by e-mail.

No. It uses standard Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11n) in the license-free 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands and is designed to co-exist with other Wi-Fi networks, mobile phones and access points nearby.

• Automatic channel switching: the access point moves to another channel seamlessly.
• Range test: checks that every device is in range on any channel the system may use.
• Packet loss concealment: masks lost packets in the audio.
• WPA2 encryption: protects against eavesdropping and unauthorized access.

No extra Wi-Fi router is needed: the tablet used for control connects to the DCNM-WAP directly.
