In each pair only the stem differs, the sound is the same. The short stem suits participants seated close to the desk and keeps sightlines clear. The long stem reaches people who sit further back or stand to speak.
DCNM-MICS or DCNM-MICSLS?
They fit different equipment. The DCNM-MICS has a click-lock plug for tabletop and Wireless DICENTIS devices. The DCNM-MICSLS has a screw-lock plug for flush seats built into the desk, through the DCNM-FMCP panel. Choose by the equipment you are installing.
High directive or stem microphone?
The DCNM-HDMIC has no stem. It sits low, so participants keep a clear view across the room. Two precisely positioned capsules give it a high directive response, so people can speak from a greater distance and move more freely, with ultra-low noise (12 dB SPL).
The stem microphones, DCNM-MICS (310 mm) and DCNM-MICL (480 mm), bring the capsule closer to the mouth; the long stem also suits people who stand to speak. All three click into the same tabletop and Wireless devices.
Will it work in a noisy or echoey room?
Yes. Bosch designed the DICENTIS stem microphones for acoustically challenging rooms: the directional pickup focuses on the speaker, the built-in plop and windshield cuts breath noise, and they have low susceptibility to mobile phones, so no buzzing when a phone is on the desk.

The light on the microphone head shows your status: red means the microphone is on and you are live; green means your request to speak has been accepted and you are next.
