DICENTIS software Licenses expand the functionality of a registered DICENTIS Conference System. Depending on project requirements, Premium and Ultimate feature packages add advanced meeting, voting, interpretation and participant-management functions.
DCNM-LPP-PE in the DICENTIS System
DCNM-LPP-PE is a participant-based perpetual License that enables the DICENTIS Premium feature package. It provides Premium voting and interpreting functionality, together with meeting preparation and management through the DICENTIS Software Suite.
It can be used alongside the selected DICENTIS feature package. The number of DCNM-LDANTE licenses depends on the required Dante streams, not on the number of participants.

What does DCNM-LPP-PE include?
One Premium license for one participant, valid permanently. The first year of software maintenance is included; extend it with DCNM-LPSMA-PE. Delivered by e-mail with activation details. Order one per participant in the meeting.
Premium or Ultimate: which DICENTIS license do I need?
Premium covers most meetings: participant identification (NFC card, PIN or username), ad hoc voting, language selection on the seat, meeting and agenda management with quorum and attendance, speech timer, and advanced video switching with speaker names on the hall display.
Ultimate is everything in Premium, plus control for formal sessions: voting rounds prepared in advance, interpretation set up per meeting and controlled from Synoptic, an interface for remote interpreting (RSI), and voice-activated camera control.
Do DICENTIS discussion devices need a software license?
For the wired DICENTIS Conference System, basic discussion works without a license once the system is registered: request to speak, chairperson priority, dual use (two participants on one device), camera control and interpretation from the interpreter desk. These seat functions need a Premium or Ultimate license:

The DCNM-DVT voting buttons do not work without a Premium license.
Order one license per participant in the meeting (a dual use seat counts as two). Two ways to buy:
- Perpetual, pay once: Premium DCNM-LPP-PE or Ultimate DCNM-LPU-PE. The license is yours permanently. Software maintenance (updates) is included for the first year, then renewed yearly with DCNM-LPSMA-PE.
- Professional, pay yearly: the same Premium or Ultimate features, renewed every year. Software maintenance and the Participant App are included in the yearly fee.
DICENTIS Wireless (DCNM-WD / DCNM-WDE) works differently: it still uses per-seat licenses, such as DCNM-LSDU for dual use, DCNM-LSVT for voting and DCNM-LSID for identification.
What happened to DCNM-LSYS, LSDU, LSID and the other old licenses?
In July 2023 Bosch replaced the old per-function licenses of the wired DICENTIS Conference System with two participant packs: Premium and Ultimate. Systems that already have the old licenses keep working, and DICENTIS software stays supported.

DICENTIS Wireless (DCNM-WD / DCNM-WDE) still uses DCNM-LSDU, DCNM-LSID and DCNM-LSVT, so these are still sold for wireless systems.

Both are counted per participant, and we quote either one.
Can remote participants join a DICENTIS meeting (hybrid)?
Yes, with a Professional license plan. Professional Premium and Ultimate plans include one remote participant. For more, add DCNM-LPH (1 participant) or DCNM-LPH10 (10 participants), as a yearly subscription (-S1Y) or prepaid (-P1Y).
Hybrid meetings are not available with perpetual licenses (DCNM-LPP-PE / DCNM-LPU-PE). Bosch offers this in selected countries only, so ask us to confirm it for your project.
What is the DICENTIS Participant App?
An Android app that turns a tablet into a DICENTIS seat. Participants can request to speak, vote, see the speaker list and results, register attendance, follow the agenda, read documents and watch live video and presentations.
A perpetual system includes one app user. Each extra user needs one DCNM-LPAPP-PE (up to 300). Professional plans include the app.
Who supplies Bosch DICENTIS in the UAE, and what warranty do I get?
Protechtors General Trading LLC (hik.ae) is an authorized partner of Bosch, Dynacord and Electro-Voice in the UAE, so everything we supply is genuine and comes with a 3-year warranty. Warranty is carry-in: bring the unit to our office in Dubai and after inspection it is repaired or replaced as needed.
