Overview
During a fire, ceiling cavities can allow flames to spread rapidly throughout a building. The LBC 3081/02 Steel Fire Dome is designed to prevent fire from entering the ceiling cavity through the loudspeaker opening, helping to improve overall building fire safety.
📝 Description
This optional steel fire dome is installed by clicking it into the loudspeaker mounting ring using three integrated leaf springs before inserting the loudspeaker.
For added convenience, a built-in safety cord allows the installer to temporarily hang the loudspeaker during installation. After installation, the cord continues to provide additional reassurance.
The fire dome is provided with knockout holes for two supplied grommets and two PG13 cable glands, allowing secure and flexible cable entry.

Which fire dome or back box fits my ceiling loudspeaker?
- LBC3080/01: steel fire dome, flame red RAL 3000, EN54-24 certified, for LBC3090/01, LBC3090/31, LHM0606/10, LHM0606/00, LHM0626/00 and LBC3087/41. A white version, LBC3080/11, is available (ask us).
- LBC3081/02: steel fire dome, flame red, for LBC3086/41. With it, the LBC3086/41 is EN54-24 certified.
- LC3-CBB: ABS back box for the LC3 range. The LC3-UC06E is EN54-24 only with it.
- LC1-MFDS metal fire dome, LC1-CMR mounting ring with LC1-CBB back box, or LC1-MMSB bracket: housings for the LC1 range.
The LC3-UM06E and the new Mid and Performance Level models have a metal fire dome built in.
