What does the built-in recorder do?
It records discussions as MP3 to the internal memory (up to 8 hours) or to a USB stick of up to 128 GB (up to 4,000 hours at 64 kbit/s). Files are split per hour with date and time; continuous recording, for example for courtrooms, can be set. Four RCA outputs record individual microphones. The built-in monitor loudspeaker and headphone socket let you listen live or pre-listen to recordings.
What is DAFS?
Digital Acoustic Feedback Suppression stops howling (the Larsen effect), so the loudspeaker volume can be as loud as needed for clear speech without feedback.
Which cameras can it control?
ONVIF Profile-S cameras are discovered automatically, plus Panasonic AW-HE40, HE50, HE60, HE120, HE130, AW-UE70 and Sony SRG-300SE / SRG-360SHE over IP. Up to six cameras and a video switcher (TvOne CORIOmatrix or Kramer MV-6), with HD-SDI switching to hall displays.
What else can be connected?
- XLR input with phantom power for a wired or wireless guest microphone
- RCA input for music or another audio source, RCA output to a sound reinforcement system
- One RCA in/out for a recorder, an audio processor, a telephone or video link, or the participant loudspeaker signal
- Ethernet for the web browser interface and API, micro USB for updates and copying recordings
CCSD-CURD or CCSD-CU?
Both power up to 80 devices with the same connections and web browser interface. The CCSD-CURD adds the MP3 recorder, DAFS, the monitor loudspeaker and headphone socket, and four RCA outputs for individual recording. The CCSD-CU (ask us) has none of these.
Which discussion modes does CCS 1000 D have?
- Open: participants press to speak; when the open microphones are full, the next request joins the waiting list.
- Override: a new speaker switches off the microphone that has been on longest (never the chairperson).
- Voice activation: microphones switch on when someone speaks; hold the button to mute.
- Push to talk: the microphone is on while the button is held.
Up to 4 open microphones are set on the control unit, up to 25 in the web browser interface. An interruption microphone, for example at a podium, always gets the floor.
What do I need for a CCS 1000 D system?
- A control unit: CCSD-CURD with MP3 recorder and feedback suppression, or CCSD-CU (ask us) without them. It powers and controls up to 80 discussion devices on two trunks of 40.
- Extension units for bigger rooms: each CCSD-EXU powers up to 85 more devices, for a maximum of 245.
- Tabletop devices: CCSD-DL2 (long microphone) or CCSD-DS2 (short microphone), each set as participant or chairperson.
- Flush devices: CCSD-FDL for participants and CCSD-FCML for the chairperson, both with long microphones; short-microphone CCSD-FDS (ask us) and CCSD-FCMS (ask us). Up to 35 flush devices per trunk.
- A tablet, laptop or PC for the web browser interface and advanced settings.
Devices daisy-chain with their own 2 m cables and are plug and play: no restart when you add or remove one.
Who supplies Bosch CCS 1000 D in the UAE, and what warranty do I get?

Warranty is carry-in: bring the unit to our office in Dubai and after inspection it is repaired or replaced as needed.
